Grasp the future
My parents, especially my mom always told me like
“Go to the good university and work at the good company”.
She was the typical asian mom who wants her kids to be success.
Yes, it was true. If you graduate from one of the famous university in Japan, you already succeed in 80% of your life. The status of the Diploma leads you to the big company that people are envious.
Moreover, the company guarantee the a high standard of living forever by the lifetime employment system.
However, this scenario for success was 10years ago. Because of economic cline,
even big company for example TOYOTA says it's difficult to stick to lifetime employment.
"Don’t listen to what your parents say."
This is something Takaki Takehana told us for MUP week2’s class.
In order to surviving this unstable period, do not follow your parents generation that still relying on the lifetime employment but gain the skill that can help you to be independent.
So that you can live your life not be controller by company or the economy.
